Hello fellow sceptics (we are like little Scullys)…

I have something to say, its to do with the new Castaway. I look at the BBC with a stoical and intellectual manner, although these things have melted away since News 24 (if you ever watch, its visual tabloids for goldfish). Although this was a first, a long time before Big Brother and Survivor and all those terribly shit reality tv shows, it was kind of entertaining.

These people gave up their lives and decided to live on a far away island somewhere off Scotland, where they had to fend for themselves, live off the land and be all round islanders. They had young people like posh boy Ben Fogle and really old crazy drunks they picked up in the pub. One of them threatened to kill Fogle, a wish I dream of very often.

Anyway, it was a sweet innocent idea. Nowadays, it is smut ridden, with ‘eye candy’ and ‘controversial choices’ to ‘mix’ things up. It’s so boring. They have even made it so you can join the Castaways.

This time its somewhere exotic! Its near New Zealand. God it’s so boring! And everyones young as usual! Honestly BBC, try a little harder, you used to be the ones who came up with the ideas. I think a mix of ages, on an island for a year is a much better, stop thinking short term, start thinking interesting!

I blame our stupid sex generation, and its obsession with skin!
