The Air is Full of Love: Redux
This song attempts to illustrate the human cost in war through love song- it was originally put on alittlepoison three years ago. This is a recent re-recording of the song, and is much better than the original.

But the air is full of germs! Still, it’s a sweet sweet song. What is the real cost of war? And can we get a refund?
Love = Germs
GERM WARFARE!
Imagine:
Somewhere, in a basement in Clapham, fifty blackmarket scientists are working to create the most deadly strain of love yet, testing it on innocent subscribers to anonymous ‘Science Trials for Money’ who ingest the artificial notion of lifesolving kisses. In thirty five minutes, they stumble back to their houses exhalted and unrequited, clutching fifty pound notes, deciding to end it all late at night with the TV on, a black chrome .45 Cougar and of course, of course, no silencer. The dirty-coated scientists shrug and mix, refining; perfecting, ticking off another day until they can send the unarmoured kamikaze down to the heart of the city with the weapon in a small envelope sealed with black wax. The gas masks are ready. The ugly smoke in the cabinet ebbs, and plans are already underway for the next strain of love, in a darker tunnel, so that after humanity has buckled, after the survivors have adapted to cope with the struggle, they can dispatch the adapters with an atomic love bubble that will singe flesh to the bone, having learnt from the feedback: It wasn’t enough to create a love that affected the mind alone.
I’m going to make an apocalyptic film about infectious love warfare! Death camps full of sick lovers! And some Florence Nightingale character who’s immune because of an unromantic disorder. Audtions will be held on Friday, February 13th for:
Evil scientists
Sex maniacs
Policemen
Zombies
No, I’m going to smoke some cigarettes in my garden.

Are these times any more distessing and uncertain than any other time?

The air is full of love,
Love is full of air.
Love is full of hair
love is hairy.
love is full of internal organs.
and bodily fluids too.
if love is full of hair,
let’s just hope it is your own…
you degenerate!
