is this an episode in the life of the contender for the upcoming presidential elections? and if not who were kerry 1 and 2?
Has anyone been following the Presidential debates? I saw one in the back room of a bar full of Bush-hating expatriate Americans. Kerry was obviously much clearer and more intelligent in his speaking style, but in substance it wasn’t much more than two men taking it in turns to say “I’m a big man, I’m a strong man, I can kill more terrorists than you.” And then paying transparently contrived compliments to each other’s wife and children. It’s all so staged and false, from start to end.
My favourite part was Bush telling one of the voices in his ear to let him finish.
Has anyone seen the Guardian’s charming campaign to influence US voters in key areas? Its’ sweet in a way as are the replies from said voters. I didn’t think anyone used the phrase ‘fucking limey’ outside of extreme Gilbert & sullian criticism.
Death is good to report. If people don’t report death then the streets start smelling of rot and decay - like Venice in the summer time. I see this cartoon as a tribute to Venice in the spring time. I think you catch my whif.
