Business Yum Yums 01
Lonely Julia steps from the professional lounge area
Lovely Julia puts 85 pence into Nescafe machine
It rumbles like passport photo machine
Spits out some coffee some used oil
Lonely Julia burns a lip on liquid
For a lovely black instant she sulks
Sits evil on one of the corporate sofas
Eats six sugar fruit gelatin treat yum yums
Lonely tuna sandwich later it seems
All language returns to food she thinks
Call conversation scratching paper clip office
Julia telephones Lydia for drink help fun
Lydia loves Julia hates complexity seeks GSOH
Julia loves real talk hates act of wasting
Dream of flying insects
Both on separate networks
Men later poison coffee money drink machine
Julia survives and telephones Lydia for
Later arrangement drink help fun

yum yum
I especially like the last two stanzas.
Commas are overrated, bring on the “drink help fun”
in fact I like all of it (as a poem though and not a lifestyle choice!)
keep scribblin bitch
I like your poetry muchly. A lot of your stuff is like reading the lyrics to a song you really like and thinking ‘this would make a good poem.’ gelatin treat yum yums all round.
